Turkey Burg developed a new website for the Laurier Lounge in June 2016, a few months after beginning to manage the restaurant’s Facebook advertising. Built on WordPress, the site uses blog posts to showcase popular menu items. While this strategy is not common for restaurant websites, which typically have a single page to list all menu items and very few pages on the site, it has proven to be highly effective when combined with a Facebook tracking pixel. Using the tracking pixel, Turkey Burg creates custom and lookalike advertising audiences on Facebook to target people with similar interests.
Scope of Services
In addition to the initial website development and design, Turkey Burg managed regular site updates, monitored site traffic in Google Analytics and linked key actions taken on the site to digital advertising using conversion tracking mechanisms.
